Each line represents a new small idea. Every word being written down is being transcribed from my head (simplistically enough) as we sit and think we engage into active thought that allows us to get our points across using linguistics and body language (gestures) as a mode of communication, even as a plea of acceptance (in some cases). We throw out a suggestion as a possible course of action. To see who or what will respond. Who or what will concur with our bold attempt at making sense of whatever world we are looking at. What we decide to actually impose (not negative) after formulating is up to us. We once again, if getting approval from various peers or managers -- people held with esteem -- then we understand what a good idea is. When there is excitement in the room and synapses' in the brain. Once things are illuminated and light is shed upon a concrete idea, then we tend to understand and a flood gate is opened to allow more to gracefully and happily come through. But what is it that shuts off this active ingredient, why doesn't it work unless some heat is added? Unless there is a free thought, not being thought about. (catch). When we have already terminated the need for ideas (already been done e.g.) Then we shut down, system failure, the whole process of thought. Instantly we close our minds to what could be there and what the future could bring for us. There is always hope. There is always a way to get it back. Training ones brain to actively participate involuntarily (force) into thought is a way to come out of apathetic situations. Why is that good? Simple questions to be able to extend our thoughts to be or possibly come into a greater thing. An actuality. Reality... Sometimes a heaping dose of it can help, but most of the time it is the imagination and dreams that we need in order to be able to cope and/or loose oneself in these thoughts, then we start to yearn for them - we ignite them and welcome more thought to come - we don't become afraid of ourselves or what other people think because there is no such reason to despond creativity and free thought. If someone is constantly badgered to be analytical (all the time, parents, teachers etc.) then there is only what is there. Only what is concretely known which is fact and fact is ever so important to our lives, without it there would be no math; however, it doesn't always allow for free thought of the unbelievable to come out or even sound viable. Fact is too explainable. (not necessarily in a bad way, but it can be hindering.) creative thought cannot be repressed anymore. Listen to music with eyes closed, get lost, imagine what might or could be.
"With the lost continents I felt something, whereas with America I felt nothing at all. Now and then its true, I did think of Mona, not as a person in a definite aura, of time and space, but separately, detached, as though she had blown up into a great cloud like form that blotted out the past... I had become so reconciled to this life without her..." Henry Miller.
